Faculty profile
The mission of the faculty, in accordance with the long-term intention of the university, is to develop a harmonious personality, knowledge, wisdom, goodness and creativity in man and to contribute to the development of education, science, culture and health for the welfare of the entire society.
Fulfilling this mission is the subject of the main activity of the faculty, which is to develop education on the basis of creative pedagogical and scientific research activities in the spirit of the principles of humanism, national and democratic traditions, using the knowledge and experience of the Slovak and foreign scientific research community, in connection with the global development of science, technology and economics, through the provision of higher education and creative scientific research.
The faculty's profile is determined by comprehensive education, scientific research and professional activities in the areas of:
- intelligent transport systems,
- transport safety and its impact on the environment,
- sustainable mobility (integrated and combined transport),
- transport and communications technology,
- transport services and logistics,
- economics and management of the transport and communications sector,
- economics and management of enterprises in the transport, post and telecommunications sectors,
- economics and management of enterprises as an economic, financial, social and legal system.
