The graduate has practical skills and methodological knowledge in a key area of the discipline at the synthesis level, which serve as a basis for practice and research. He/she is able and entitled to carry out independently the range of activities in the profession which are determined by the chosen graduate study programme.

The basic condition for admission to studies for the first level of higher education is a complete secondary or complete secondary vocational education.
Another condition for admission to studies is successful completion of the entrance examination. The criterion for admission is the score of the entrance examination, which will place the applicant among the planned number of admitted candidates.
The entrance examination consists of a written test.
The written test in:
- Biology (40 questions)
- Chemistry (40 questions)
The maximum score of the written test is 320. The time to complete the written test is 50 minutes.

Conditions for international students
An applicant who has completed secondary school studies abroad (except for documents obtained in the Czech Republic) shall submit, in addition to the required attachments, the original decision or a certified copy of the decision on recognition of the education document issued to the applicant by the relevant district office, education department. The applicant who completed secondary school studies abroad (except for documents obtained in the Czech Republic) will submit, in addition to the mandatory annexes, the original decision or a certified copy of the diploma issued by the relevant District office, the Department of Education. This decision must be submitted on the entrance examination.

Form of entrance exam
Form and subjects of the entrance examination:
The entrance examination will take the form of a written test in the subjects of biology (40 questions) and chemistry (40 questions). The content of the individual subjects corresponds in scope to the content of a complete secondary education.
Tests
The set of test questions for candidates consists of 80 questions - 40 questions from the subject of biology and 40 questions from the subject of chemistry. The time taken to complete the 80 questions is 50 minutes. The maximum number of marks that a candidate can obtain is 320.
