Doctoral degree graduate in sport education:
- has broad cross-cutting professional knowledge, skills and competencies in the sport sciences, with a priority focus on sport education,
- can be employed as a university teacher and researcher in the field of sport sciences, as an expert in the management of sport organisations and federations, and also as an expert in public administration with competencies to address physical activity issues in relation to the promotion of public health

- the basic condition for admission is a second cycle university degree in sports science; in the field of study of teaching and pedagogical sciences with a focus on physical education or in related fields of study,
- another condition for admission is successful completion of the entrance examination.
Additional information
Mandatory attachments to the application:
- proof of payment of the fee for the material support of the admission procedure,
- resume signed by the applicant (Europass),
- officially certified photocopies of evidence of second-level education (to be submitted immediately after obtaining them),
- dissertation project (in two printed copies; bound in a binder or comb binding)

The entrance examination is oral and consists of the following parts:
- presentation of the dissertation project (introductory input of the candidate - max. 7 minutes),
- discussion of the dissertation project,
- examination of the methodology of sports science - discussion of research issues related to the topic of the dissertation,
- examination in sport education related to the topic of the dissertation,
- exam in English language (interview at the level of secondary school leaving certificate (B2) related to the dissertation topic and personal profiling)
