Mathematical and Computational Modeling

The graduate obtains a full second-level university degree in applied mathematics with an orientation towards mathematical modelling, computer analysis and simulation of engineering problems in interdisciplinary applications. He/she masters modern methods of applied mathematics (numerical, statistical, optimization, graphical and visualization methods and software), understands their efficient software implementation on modern (parallel) computer architectures and can apply these methods in engineering practice. The graduate will find employment primarily in interdisciplinary teams in companies and research institutes oriented to the development of modern technologies, software development in the field of scientific and technical computing, numerical and statistical methods, visualization, computer graphics, image processing and data analysis.

Documents required in English language:

  • signed curriculum vitae,
  • confirmation of the application fee payment,
  • a document (certificate) confirming knowledge of the English language at least at the B1 level or passing the high school graduation exam in the English language.

Officially translated documents in English language:

  • certified bachelor diploma with Apostille/Superlegalization,
  • state exam certificate and transcript of records of the state exam with Apostille/Superlegalization, **
  • transcript of records of all passed exams from previous studies with Apostille/Superlegalization
