The study programme provides graduates with a broad professional profile focused on the organization and operation of various rescue systems (mine rescue services, fire and rescue services, occupational safety services, road rescue systems, and military rescue services) and their integration into the Integrated Rescue System. Graduates are able to independently design, implement, and evaluate solutions to problems related to the prevention of major industrial accidents, emergency situations, civil protection of the population, and the handling, storage, and transport of hazardous substances. They design fire safety solutions for transport tunnels and assess the suitability of materials for fire protection. Graduates formulate recommendations and procedures for addressing professional problems and design and implement projects to solve them. They possess the professional, communication, and managerial skills required for higher management positions and are capable of designing and defending projects in the fields of prevention, safety, health protection, protection of the population and employees, environmental protection, and property protection. The cross-disciplinary nature of Rescue, Fire, and Safety Engineering also allows graduates to find employment in other sectors.
