Rescue, fire and safery technology, mining planning

The study programme provides graduates with a broad professional profile in the organisation and operation of various rescue systems (mining rescue service, fire and rescue service, occupational safety service, road rescue system, and military rescue service) and their integration within the Integrated Rescue System. Graduates are able to independently prepare proposals for occupational health and safety, environmental safety, assess safety risks, and develop documentation and projects related to fire protection; they are capable of assessing fire safety of buildings, determining the size of fire compartments, identifying fire risks, evaluating fire-technical properties of materials, and designing escape routes, separation distances, and fire intervention equipment. The cross-disciplinary nature of the study programme does not preclude graduates from employment in other fields.
