In the course of the Master's thesis, the student is expected to become a specialist in the subject matter and thus prepare for the profession of computer science teacher. Teaching practice is also an important complement to the educational process. Seminars should demonstrate the practical application of theoretical knowledge, while the assignment of seminar work is monitored by the ability of the listener for independent creative work and the handling of available, preferably up-to-date, literature and sources.

It is important to lead students to think analytically and synthetically, to acquire new knowledge and to evaluate it critically, to learn to argue critically and to be able to take and defend their own opinion on a problem. The student will acquire the ability to analyze systems in terms of their complexity and efficiency and to design appropriate algorithmic solutions for critical components, to specify, design, implement and maintain modern software systems, and to analyze and modify existing software systems.
