Prospects of graduates
A graduate of the bachelor's study program in Public Health can, in addition to work in the network of regional public health offices, can also work in occupational health services, in facilities providing medical and preventive care as an expert in hospital epidemiology and health protection of employees, but also in higher territorial units. insurance companies or in state administration or territorial self-government bodies in the field of health development (creation and implementation of programs for active prevention of non-communicable and communicable diseases, eg healthy cities, healthy schools, healthy workplaces). The graduate is able to use the epidemiological method of work and this allows him to apply in the field of pharmaceutical companies. The graduate has the prerequisites for further university, specialization and continuous education.

- completed secondary education or a full secondary vocational education;
- medical fitness for university studies in the medical field of study and for the exercise of the relevant medical profession;
- successful completion of the entrance exam;
- entrance examination: successful completion of a biology test in the scope of secondary school curriculum (minimum 40 points);
- those candidates who obtain the highest number of points for the entrance examination will be admitted.

Required documents for admission:
- Duly completed application form for university studies of the first degree and the following required documents must be attached:
o The copies of the End of Year School Report for the last year and the School- Leaving Examination Certificate.
o The medical confirmation of general health and the ability to study at the university level in the healthcare field of study and for the performance of a profession in the selected study programme (in the prescribed form).

- The faculty strongly prefers applications be submitted electronically via
https://e-prihlaska.tnuni.sk You do not need to send paper versions. We require you upload scans of all required documents online through the electronic application.
- Applicants for studies can also send an application in paper version (in the prescribed application form – ŠEVT form). The application must be written legibly in blue ink and sent with the copies of the required documents directly to the faculty of healthcare.
- Officially certified copies of the End of Year School Report for the last year and the School-Leaving Examination Certificate, the original medical confirmation of general health and the ability to study at the university level in the healthcare field of study and for the performance of the profession in the selected study programme must be submitted no later than on the day of the entrance exam.
- The registered applicants who fail to deliver all the required documents within the specified deadline, will be assumed to have declined the offer to study at the faculty.

The test is focused on biology in the scope of secondary school curriculum. There are 50 questions in the test, one answer is correct, for each correct answer the candidate gets 2 points, for the whole test he can get a maximum of 100 points. The time limit for completing the test is a maximum of 50 minutes.
