Architektúra

The programme is pluralistic in nature and allows for individual graduate profiling. It forms the top theoretical stage of the education of an architect-designer and at the same time provides the possibility of profiling a well-founded scientific researcher oriented towards theoretical-philosophical research, positive historiographical research in the field of architecture. The study programme encourages the ability to work creatively independently on projects of a theoretical, scientific and research nature, to analyse complex problems of the field, to identify their regularities, to acquire and process knowledge that signifies new knowledge in the field and to solve a particularly complex problem in a new and original scientific way. The study programme will prepare the graduate for independent creative scientific research activity. He/she will be employed in architectural science, education and architectural practice and can work in scientific research and scientific-pedagogical institutions, carry out conceptual research work in architectural studios, in publishing scientific, theoretical and professional periodicals.
