Doctoral degree graduate in sport education:
- have broad cross-cutting professional knowledge, skills and competencies in the field of sport science, with a priority focus on sport education,
- can be employed as a university teacher and researcher in the field of sport sciences, as an expert in the management of sport organisations and federations, and also as an expert in public administration with competences to address physical activity issues in relation to the promotion of public health.

- the basic requirement for admission is a second-cycle (Master’s level) university degree in the field of Sport Sciences; or in the field of Teacher Education and Educational Sciences with a focus on Physical Education, or in related fields of study,
- another admission condition is the successful completion of the entrance exam,
- knowledge of the English language at a minimum level of B2.
Additional information
Mandatory attachments to the application:
- documentary proof of payment of the material support fee for the admission procedure,
- Curriculum vitae signed by the applicant (Europass),
- certified photocopies of evidence of second-level education (to be sent immediately after obtaining them),
- dissertation thesis project (in one printed copy; bound in binder or comb binding and in electronic pdf to be sent to the address: veronika.simockova@unipo.sk)

SUMMARY INTENT OF ACCEPTANCE:
- presentation of the dissertation thesis project (introductory input of the candidate in the form of a PPT presentation - max. 7 minutes),
- debate on the dissertation project,
- examination in Sports Science Methodology - debate on research issues related to the topic of the dissertation thesis,
- exam in Sports Educology in relation to the topic of the dissertation thesis
- English language exam (interview at secondary school leaving certificate (B2) level related to the dissertation topic and personal profile).
