Geodesy and Cartography
Acquisition of professional education in the field of geodesy and cartography necessary for the exercise of the profession and for the acquisition of professional competence for the verification of the results of selected activities or for the advancement to the doctoral level of study.
Prospects of graduates
Graduates will find employment in state investor organizations, scientific research institutes, in state administration bodies at central, territorial and local level as well as in the business sector. On the basis of Act No. 215/1995 Coll. on Geodesy and Cartography, the graduate may obtain authorization to verify the results of selected activities in the field of geodesy and cartography and membership in the Chamber of Surveyors and Cartographers.

Conditions for international students

- A foreign national who has not completed a Bachelor's degree in Slovak and is interested in studying a study programme in Slovak or in a combination of Slovak and English, must submit a document confirming knowledge of the Slovak language at least at B1 level by the deadline 20 June 2025 (or 15 August 2025 in the 2nd round of the entrance examinations). Without this document the applicant will not be admitted to the study.
- An applicant for a study programme offered in English, if he/she has not completed his/her Bachelor's degree in English, must submit a document confirming his/her knowledge of English at least at B1 level by the deadline 20 June 2025 (or 15 August 2025 in the 2nd round of the entrance examinations).
