Environmental Protection and Ecotechnologies of Raw Materials

The study programme provides graduates with a broad professional profile and comprehensive, high-quality knowledge of mineral resources and their utilization, materials chemistry, and the physical and chemical principles of processes applied within their specialization, including their impact on the complexity and demands of technologies. Graduates understand the processing and beneficiation of mineral raw materials (coal, metallic and non-metallic ores) for their further use in various sectors of the economy, enabling them to design, apply, optimize, construct, and manage mineral processing technologies. They are capable of designing, modelling, and engineering technologies for the treatment and processing of primary and secondary raw materials. Graduates of the programme can find employment in organizations engaged in monitoring and evaluating the state of the environment, waste management, and environmental impact assessment. Career opportunities exist in both the public and private sectors, including public administration and local government related to environmental protection, industrial enterprises involved in raw material processing, and various environmental organizations.
