Prospects of graduates
The curriculum is a reflection of the current and anticipated future needs of employers in the area concerned. The graduate understands the content and objectives of media and marketing communication, including in the modern digital space, has superior knowledge and experience in the creation and management of information, media content of various nature in the digital environment in the state, public and private sectors. He has knowledge of media theory, marketing, economics, law, management and practical experience in the creative production and implementation of content (textual, visual, digital).

Basic admission requirement
The basic condition for admission to a second cycle study programme is the acquisition of a first cycle university degree (Higher Education Act). In the case of a foreign applicant or a student who has completed his/her studies abroad, the student shall submit a decision on the recognition of the proof of completion of the first cycle of higher education by the relevant institution in the Slovak Republic or apply to UNIZA for the recognition of the proof of education with the application form for higher education studies, no later than on the date of enrolment in the studies. To study at the Institute in the Slovak language, written and oral proficiency in Slovak or Czech is required.
Other admission requirements
Applicants will undergo an oral interview, the subject of which is a discussion of the books/articles they have read. Candidates will take an entrance examination (oral interview) to verify their eligibility for the second cycle of studies and to test their knowledge of the field of study and the programme of study. The admission interview mark is set and announced by the admissions board, with a maximum score of 10. A minimum of 5 points is considered as passing the interview. The oral interview consists of a discussion of selected publications or articles, which the applicants choose from a list published in advance on the Institute's website: https://umkd.uniza.sk/?page_id=499. It is necessary to choose three books, articles, read them (the applicant does not have to read the whole book, only the chapters that interest him/her) and be able to discuss them informally. In the event of a tie, the order of the candidates concerned will be determined as a split. The results of the admission examination shall be contained in the minutes of the admission examination, accompanied by a certificate of the admission examination, drawn up by the chairman of the admissions board appointed by the Rector and signed by all its members. These documents are archived at the Education Department of UNIZA.

Conditions for international students
For foreign applicants, the admission conditions apply as for applicants from the Slovak Republic. Foreign students studying in Slovak language do not pay tuition fees. Applicants from the Czech Republic may use the form valid in the Czech Republic to apply for studies. For foreign applicants admitted on the basis of interstate agreements, bilateral agreements or for scholarship holders of the Government of the Slovak Republic, the conditions specified in the relevant documents apply. For foreign applicants (except applicants from the Czech Republic) studying in the Slovak language, successful completion of a language test in the Slovak language with a minimum B1 level is required.

Applicants shall fill the Application for Undergraduate Studies - 2nd Degree form or use the electronic form. The electronic application form can be filled in via the UNIZA website https://vzdelavanie.uniza.sk/prijimacky/index.php or the University portal https://prihlaskavs.sk/sk/. In the case of electronic application, it is necessary to follow the instructions given in the Electronic Application System.
If the application form is incomplete, the applicant will be asked to complete it.
In case of non-participation or failure in the admission procedure, the Institute will not refund the admission fee.
If a candidate wishes to participate in the admission procedure at several faculties or programmes of the faculty of UNIZA, the application must be submitted separately for each faculty and programme with payment of the appropriate fee.
