Conditions of admission

The basic condition for admission is a first-level academic degree obtained in a study programme from the subgroup of courses 3.3 Economics and Management or 8.1.1 Tourism.

Another condition for admission to Master’s degree programmes is the submission of a signed application form to the address of the faculty along with the further required documents attached (CV, and, in the case of candidates graduated from other higher education institutions, a certified photocopy of the bachelor’s diploma and state exam certificate, as well as a photocopy of the diploma supplement) no later than 10 working days after the deadline for filing the application.

Applicants to master's degree programmes must also prove their ability to communicate in Hungarian or Slovak language.

Applicants are ranked on the basis of the weighted arithmetic average of their marks obtained at state exams. In case of identical average values, the weighted average of marks obtained during first-level academic studies will apply.

Decisions on the admission of candidates are made by the Dean of the faculty. A notice of acceptance/non-acceptance will be delivered to applicants by registered post. In case of a low number of applicants for a study programme, the faculty (following the Dean's decision) reserves the right not to open a study programme and to offer candidates another course, if possible.
