Ecology and Biodiversity Protection
Graduated first degree program of study ecology and conservation of biodiversity can analyze and solve practical problems and tasks of nature conservation and biodiversity. Apply conservation in organizations and organs of government in lower levels of management and local government as well as nongovernmental organizations focused on conservation and on matters pertaining to the interpretation and communication,as well as solutions to simpler tasks of development and environmental protection programs.The Faculty has accredited the 2 and 3 degree of focus.

Students are admitted to the program by fulfilling the basic admission requirements pursuant to Section 68 of Act No. 300/2025 Coll. on Higher Education Institutions and based on the evaluation of their secondary education.
While the Technical University in Zvolen accepts electronic applications submitted via the Higher Education Portal, we recommend and prefer that applicants submit their applications directly through the TUZVO University Information System (UIS): E-application form to study. Direct submission via the university's system offers applicants:
- - a simpler application process and the ability to submit required documents in one place directly within the UIS
- - immediate access to track the status and results of the admission process
- - precise and up-to-date payment instructions, with the option to pay directly within the UIS

Science does not requirea medical certificate of fitness of our students. Forforeign students (nonEU), this confirmation is needed.

Applicants who have completed secondary education must provide proof of this during the admission process, no later than the day of enrollment.
An administrative fee of € 35 is connected with organizing the admission procedure. In the case of interest in several academic programs, the administrative fee paid € 35 for each additional degree program. In this case, the application must be sent to each degree program separately.
Administrative fee paid to the candidates Bc. study bank transfer and confirmation of payment sent along with the application form. Otherwise, the application will not be accepted.
