Inorganic chemistry
Graduate of the study program Inorganic chemistry is able to independently or in a team solve standard problems of inorganic and coordination chemistry and creatively apply them in technical practice and research. He is able to apply knowledge of inorganic chemistry, and appropriately other areas of chemistry, into other areas of human activities, create models of processes on the basis of practice requirements and expertly operate various measuring and technological devices.
Graduate will gain knowledge of modern inorganic chemistry, ability to independently solve difficult tasks and perceive inorganic chemistry in social context. He knows common methodologies of laboratory technology, is able to independently operate complex devices and design new experimental procedures. He Masters the work with information and communication technologies and is prepared for work with English expert Literature.
Study of inorganic chemistry creates qualifications for continuing with study on the third level of education, the graduate may be also employed as a researcher at a university, at research institutes, or in the private sector.

If the conditions for admission without an entrance exam are not fulfilled, the applicant may be admitted on the basis of outcome of Master study entrance exam, in the standard length of study of two or three years. The content of the entrance exam matches the content of a corresponding Bachelor exam of the study program, to which is the given Master study program connected and it's available on the faculty website.

Conditions for international students
International students who will study in Slovak language are admitted under the same conditions as Slovak applicants, In the case of study in English language, they are admitted and are studying on the basis of a study agreement, which is concluded individually with each student.

Conditions of admission without the entrance exam
Applicant will be admitted without an entrance exam, if he fulfiled the conditions of Bachelor study programme and completed the Bachelor state exam from required subjects which in the case of a graduate of other faculty or university are equivalent to subjects of state exam of corresponding Bachelor study programme at FoS UPJŠ. Standard length of Master study programmes in this case is two years,
