Music Education or Musical Arts Talent Exam consists of a practical section, a music theory test (note writing, major and minor scales, forming and determining intervals, forming and determining fifth chords - major, minor, augmented, diminished) and music history, intonation and aural analysis (repetition of played notes and melodic sections, determination of intervals and quintacords, rhythmic exercises) and an interview with the candidate. The skills and knowledge required are at least at the level of a graduate of a primary school. For more information: https://khkurk.wixsite.com/katedra/talentove-skusky
The Art Talent Examination consists of two parts: theoretical and practical. Theoretical knowledge is demonstrated by students in the exam in art history, which focuses on historical or contemporary issues in the visual arts. The practical exam consists of active creative work, which is realized from the surface art disciplines and from the spatial art disciplines. The student carries out the practical examination on a topic and in a technique that is announced at the time of the entrance examination. The practical examination also includes a presentation of the candidate's portfolio in intermedia, design and craft, surface art disciplines and spatial art disciplines.
Physical Education Entrance Examination: a specific movement test with a time span of 3 x 3 minutes, with a one-minute break between each round. During each 3-minute round, the participant performs 26 individual repetitions of the English squat (burpees) at regular intervals according to a sound signal. Two areas are assessed:
-
Technique: accuracy and fluency of movement execution, including postural control, coordination of movement phases, and overall quality of execution.
-
Sustainability: ability to maintain movement quality and intensity throughout the test, with emphasis on resistance to fatigue and consistency of performance across all three rounds.
The ranking of candidates will be based on the following rules:
-
A candidate will be assigned points for high school performance in the following manner: the candidate's grade point average in the high school graduation exam subjects will be calculated. The resulting value is multiplied by the coefficient of the secondary school from which the applicant has graduated:
coefficient 1 for grammar school,
coefficient 2 for vocational secondary school,
coefficient 3 for vocational secondary school with matriculation.
-
In the case of study programmes where passing the talent test (music education teacher, music art teacher, art education teacher, physical education teacher), passing the entrance interview (special education and education of the mentally handicapped) or the motivational interview (other study programmes) is a condition, the ranking of applicants will be established after adding the points for the talent test or the entrance interview or the motivational interview.
The resulting value determines the applicant's position in the ranking.
If a greater number of applicants meet the admission requirements for a given study programme, those applicants who have demonstrated the highest level of aptitude for the study according to the admission requirements will be admitted.
