Prospects of graduates
Graduate of the Public Health III. level study programme acquire knowledge, skills, and competencies for independent scientific work in the field of Public Health. Graduates’ application is in independent scientific and creative activity, in education and the pedagogical process in the environment of universities, where they can perform not only pedagogical activity, but also independent scientific and creative activity. They can also apply themselves in research teams of domestic or foreign research. Their application is likewise possible in the clinical environment of healthcare facilities at the National Institute of Health, occupational health protection organisations, etc. Graduates can also apply themselves in implementing health promotion programme in various areas of society.

- University teacher
- Scientific and research worker

Conditions of admission
The basic requirement is completion of the second-level study programme especially in the study programme Public Health, in the Field of Health sciences and General medicine.
Additional conditions:
- successful completion of the entrance exam. The entrance exam includes:
- demonstration of knowledge of the field of study,
- presentation of the annotation of the selected dissertation topic (content, structure, methodology and objectives) – in accordance with the structure of the prescribed form,
- scientific dissertation in accordance with the stated theses, including a dissertation in a foreign language.

Those applicants who achieve the highest score in the entrance exam will be admitted.

- the results of the entrance examination are evaluated by the admissions committee appointed by the dean
- The admissions committee will assess the results of the admissions interview in a closed session
- A record is made of the results of the admission interview
- Proposals for the admission of successful applicants to doctoral studies are submitted by the admission committee to the dean of the faculty
- based on the proposal of the admission committee, the dean of the faculty decides on admission or non-admission to study
- a decision on the result of the admission procedure is made in writing within 30 days from the date of the entrance examination
- the applicant may submit a request for review of the decision on the result of the admission procedure

- a signed CV,
- officially certified copies of documents proving your education (university diploma, certificate and diploma supplement) – not required from graduates of the Faculty of Healthcare ADU in Trenčín,
- a list of publications or other professional activities,
- a annotation on the topic of the dissertation.
The faculty strongly prefers applications be submitted electronically via https://e-prihlaska.tnuni.sk
You do not need to send paper versions. We require you upload scans of all required documents online through the electronic application.
- Applicants for studies can also send an application in paper version (in the prescribed application form – ŠEVT form). The application must be written legibly in blue ink and sent with the copies of the required documents directly to the faculty of healthcare.
