Pomocou regresnej analýzy a modelov vektorovej autoregresie (VAR) štúdia skúma vzťah medzi makroekonomickými premennými a výkonnosťou rôznych investičných stratégií. Prínos tohto výskumu spočíva v návrhu dynamického investičného prístupu, ktorý umožňuje investorom efektívnejšie riadiť riziká a zvyšovať výnosy v rôznych fázach hospodárskeho cyklu.

Anotácia v sekundárnom jazyku práce: Investment strategies in capital and commodity markets are significantly influenced by macroeconomic factors and policies that shape the investment environment. The aim of this dissertation is to analyze how investors can dynamically adjust their investment strategies based on changes of key macroeconomic indicators, policies, and regulations, such as inflation, interest rates, unemployment rate, the Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI), tariffs, monetary, fiscal, economic, or agricultual policies, and regulations such as the European Green Deal. This dissertation research will use time series data, time-series econometric methods, and machine learning methods. Using regression analysis and vector autoregression (VAR) models, the study examines the relationship between macroeconomic variables and the performance of various investment strategies. Selected strategies are then tested in different macroeconomic scenarios through backtesting, allowing for an assessment of their effectiveness under changing market conditions. The contribution of this research lies in the design of a dynamic investment approach that enables investors to manage risk more effectively and enhance returns across different phases of the economic cycle.

Názov v sekundárnom jazyku práce: Integration of Responsible Business Principles and Their Impact on Organizational Resilience and Firm Performance
-
Očakávaným výstupom bude model vysvetľujúci mechanizmy prostredníctvom ktorých zodpovednosť posilňujú organizačnú odolnosť a výkonnosť.

Anotácia v sekundárnom jazyku práce: CSR in current environemnt is transforming and in scientific research and business practice it is increasingly linked to the topics of performance and resilience of the enterprise. Current views on corporate responsibility also do not view the enterprise in a vacuum, but perceive it as a living organism existing in a dynamic environment of interconnected concepts, such as not only ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), but also the circular economy. The dissertation will focus on presenting corporate responsibility in this broader context with the aim of analyzing to what extent the systematic integration of the principles of responsible business contributes to economic (operational), environmental and social performance (triple bottom line performance). Theoretically, the work will be based not only on the theory of stakeholders (Stakeholder Theory) but also on such starting points as the Theory of Dynamic Capabilities (Dynamic Capabilities Theory), the Theory of Resources and Competencies (Resource-based View) and the concept of Organizational Resilience (Organizational Resilience Theory). The work will be based on the assumption that responsibility, whether in the form of the application of various principles (circularity, ethics) or points of view (social, environmental, economic), represents a specific strategic capability that increases the adaptive and transformational capacity of a company in conditions of uncertainty. At the same time, we will verify whether resilience can be considered a mediator of responsible practices and company performance. From a methodological point of view, the research will focus on the operationalization of measurable indicators of corporate responsibility and performance and their empirical application in modeling the relationships between constructs based on data from a sample of companies. The expected output will be a model explaining the mechanisms through which responsibility strengthens organizational resilience and performance.

Kvantitatívna časť využíva dotazníkové šetrenia, experimentálne metódy a modelovanie rozhodovacích procesov s cieľom validovať identifikované determinanty a určiť ich relatívnu dôležitosť.

Anotácia v sekundárnom jazyku práce: The dissertation analyses and leverages behavioural determinants of consumer decision making in the beer market to support effective strategic management of a brewery. It starts from the premise that traditional economic models of consumer behaviour do not sufficiently capture real decision processes, which are shaped by psychological, social and situational factors. Identifying these determinants and understanding their influence on consumer preferences creates scope for their application in strategic and managerial decisions. The aimof thesis is to examine consumers’ decision processes when choosing beer, determine the most important behavioural factors and propose how to use them when developing brewery strategies. The research will combine qualitative methods (interviews and focus groups) and quantitative methods (surveys, experiments and decision process modelling) to validate the determinants and assess their relative importance. Secondary data, market trends and the competitive landscape will also be analysed. The outcomes will provide practical recommendations for strategic management, marketing, pricing and product innovation. The thesis will show how behavioural insights can enhance competitiveness and effective brewery management in a dynamic market environment.
