Prospects of graduates
The graduates of the first degree of the study programme Performing Arts are personalities who, on the basis of the acquired skills and knowledge, will apply themselves in practice as performers (solo players/singers, choir conductors, chamber players), musical arrangers, active employees of cultural institutions or organisations, music dramaturges in orchestras, theatres, pedagogical staff at primary and secondary art schools.
The study programme predetermines the graduate to actively communicate in at least one foreign language. During the course of study, the graduate will acquire the ability to artistically interpret a musical work of art a wide range of creative and practical skills in the field of musical art

Additional information
A student may enter the Bachelor's programme after successful completion of secondary education, which ends with the matriculation examination and after successfully passing the entrance examination
An additional round of admissions has been announced with applications open until 20 March 2022. Additional round of admissions for selected modules:
String instruments: viola, cello, double bass
Wind instruments: saxophone, trombone, oboe, trumpet, clarinet, tuba, French horn, bassoon
Conditions for international students
For international applicants, the same conditions for online application as above apply. The documents of completed studies must be translated into Slovak and verified.
Foreigners applying for studies in an accredited study programme are recommended to acquire such knowledge of the Slovak language that fluent communication is possible during their studies at the faculty. It is also possible to use the Czech language while studying at the faculty.
It is necessary to submit proof of completion of language training at the ÚJOP UK Bratislava, or a similar professional language institution (except for foreign Slovaks and applicants from the Czech Republic).

The purpose of the entrance examination is to test the level of knowledge, talent, abilities and skills of the applicant in the light of the specific requirements that arise for the applicant from the chosen study programme. The entrance examination consists of a talent test and a written examination. The aptitude test shall be conducted in a manner appropriate to the nature of the programme of study which the applicant wishes to follow. It shall consist of an artistic-creative or artistic-performance part. The written examination shall consist of a test within the scope of the conservatoire's curricular material.
