Health Psychology
The study program aims to prepare future researchers capable of designing and conducting innovative, high-quality research into psychological processes in all aspects of health, disease, and healthcare in the context of international research. Key competencies developed within the study program include scientific integrity, critical evaluation of information, research project management and teamwork, scientific communication, education and supervision, exchange and transfer of knowledge in the field of health psychology using various methodological approaches and the latest findings in this field.
Prospects of graduates
Graduates are qualified to teach psychology subjects. Graduates are proficient in and able to select specific scientific methods of basic and applied research in the field of health psychology with overlaps into general and experimental psychology, educational, counseling, and school psychology, clinical psychology, social psychology, and occupational psychology. They have extensive professional knowledge in several areas of the field of study, which serves as a basis for conducting research and development and creating new knowledge in the field of psychology.
Graduates are able to formulate new hypotheses and strategies for further research and development in psychology. They apply their own findings from theoretical analysis and comprehensive scientific research to solve problems in the field of study. They have a practical command of selected research methods and use them in the search for new technologies, technical details, and important interactive system links. Based on their outputs and findings, they are able to design, verify, and implement new research and work procedures.
