Prospects of graduates

The graduate of doctoral studies in the field of Social Psychology is able to acquire the latest knowledge in the field, to expand the scope of knowledge through his/her own scientific and research activity and to apply it in social psychological practice as well as in other related branches of psychology. By studying, the graduate acquires the ability to analyse social-psychological phenomena with a high level of abstract thinking, coupled with the ability to penetrate from the phenomenal aspect of psychological reality to its essence, i.e. to reveal the psychological mechanisms of the problem under study. Last but not least, he or she can apply himself or herself in psychological practice, especially in those areas that require theoretical and research analysis of the social-psychological contexts of a given practice. The Department of Psychology maintains contact with its alumni through an annual alumni conference. At this conference, graduate students of psychology at the Faculty of Arts of TU meet and present papers related to their work and their professional and scientific activities.
