Conditions of admission

- external form of study:

- Attention! From the academic year 2016/2017 the study takes 3 years.

-  completed and signed application form with the required attachments, including the paid fee for the entrance exam

- successful completion of the Bachelor's degree programme,

- work in a relevant field,

- after fulfilling the conditions for admission in the external form of study, applicants will be admitted without entrance examinations.

Master's degree in physiotherapy - external form of study - is intended for graduates of full-time and external forms of bachelor's degree in physiotherapy.

Additional information

The Faculty of Nursing and Professional Health Studies of the Slovak Medical University in Bratislava reserves the right not to open Master's degree programmes in case of a lower number of applicants than the planned number.

It also reserves the right not to open any of these study programmes for other serious reasons.

General information on the admission exam

- you must register your application electronically through the MAIS academic information system at https://mais.szu.sk/eprihlaska (Mozilla Firefox browser) and subsequently send the printed application form with the required attachments by post,

The application form must be accompanied by:

- a brief curriculum vitae,- a doctor's certificate of medical fitness for university studies and the exercise of the profession in the chosen study programme - required to be submitted with the application,

- evidence of completion of bachelor studies - diploma, diploma supplement and state examination certificate (photocopies certified by a notary  or registry office),

- employer's confirmation of employment (work in the relevant field) to be attached to the application form,

- if the applicant is a first degree student at the time of applying for university studies (applicants from other universities), he/she is obliged to enclose with the application a confirmation of studies in the relevant study programme. Evidence of completion of the bachelor's degree and confirmation of employment must be provided by the applicant at the latest on the day of enrolment.

The applicant shall not send a transcript of the results of the bachelor's studies.
