Faculty profile

The Faculty of Nursing and Professional Health Studies of the Slovak Medical University in Bratislava started its teaching activity in the academic year 2003/2004. The Faculty contributes to the fulfilment of the University's mission and participates in the fulfilment of its tasks. The basic tasks of the Faculty include educational, scientific and other professional activities in the field of nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, radiological technology, emergency health care, physiological and clinical nutrition and dental hygiene. These tasks are provided in cooperation with contracted health care institutions.

The Faculty provides higher education as well as further education of health care professionals.
