Project annotation in English language

This project focuses on the scientific analysis and innovation of methodological approaches in the field of teaching the design of equipment and apparatus within the interdisciplinary study program Process Engineering, which represents a synergy of knowledge from mechanical engineering and chemistry. The scientific aim of the project is to identify key deficiencies in current education in this specific area and to propose innovative solutions that will consider the principles of Industry 5.0. The scientific motivation for the project stems from the observation that, compared to the theoretical study of processes, the design area within Process Engineering is often less developed and preferred. Existing study literature for the field of Process Engineering, although accredited study programs are current, often does not include the latest scientific knowledge and technological trends, especially in the context of Industry 5.0, which is characterized by a human-centric approach, a high degree of individualization, the connection between the digital and physical worlds, and an emphasis on sustainability.
