úvod do štúdia literatúry, prehľad americkej literatúry a prehľad britskej literatúry. Jedinečnosť projektu spočíva v úzkej medzinárodnej spolupráci s partnerskou inštitúciou v Indii na prevažnej časti projektových aktivít, vrátane monitoringu aktuálneho stavu dosiahnutej úrovne literárnej kompetencie u študentov bakalárskeho štúdia, prípravy učebných materiálov, workshopov a odborných prednášok.

Project annotation in English language

The project reflects the current problem of insufficient literary competence among undergraduate students of humanities-oriented study programs in the English language, and its primary goal is to contribute to its development, thanks to thorough monitoring of the current situation and close cooperation with a foreign partner on the preparation of new teaching materials. The main output of the project is a series of teaching materials for academic courses focused on the field of Anglophone literature, i.e. introduction to the study of literature, survey of American literature, and survey of British literature. The uniqueness of the project lies in the close international cooperation with a partner institution in India on the majority of project activities, including monitoring the current level of literary competence among undergraduate students, preparation of teaching materials, workshops and academic lectures. The project's activities are primarily focused on creative and critical reading of literary texts (poetry, prose and drama), emphasizing the development of reading comprehension, critical thinking skills, independent reasoning and independent formulation of conclusions and reflections, all of which contribute to the development of students' literary competence.
