Project annotation in Slovak language

Cieľom projektu je zvýšenie laboratórnych zručností a kompetencií študentov študijných programov Aplikovaná biológia a Agrobiotechnológie vo vzťahu k ich konkurencieschopnosti na trhu práce. Realizáciou moderných biochemických a molekulárnych analýz získajú študenti ďalšie praktické zručnosti, správnu laboratórnu prax, návyky a potrebnú precíznosť pri rozboroch vzoriek rastlinného, či živočíšneho materiálu na moderných prístrojoch, čím sa podporí nielen prepojenie teoretických vedomostí s praktickými skúsenosťami, ale aj ich konkurencieschopnosť na trhu práce. Výstupom projektu budú moderné učebné laboratórne texty z predmetu "Biochemické  a molekulárne metódy“ v tlačenej forme, čím sa zvýši kvalita vzdelávania, motivácia a laboratórna zručnosť študentov. Učebné texty budú doplnené o databázu otázok a terminologický slovník v prostredí LMS Moodle, pomocou ktorých si prostredníctvom e-learningu môžu študenti otestovať svoje vedomosti. Integráciou inovačných trendov a nových didaktických prostriedkov sa vytvoria podmienky na racionalizáciu a modernizáciu pedagogického procesu. Učebné texty, ako aj on line didaktické materiály, budú určené predovšetkým študentom Slovenskej poľnohospodárskej univerzity v Nitre, ale môžu byť vhodnou učebnou pomôckou aj pre študentov biologického a chemického zamerania iných vzdelávacích inštitúcií.

Project annotation in English language

The goal of the project is to increase the laboratory skills and competencies of students of the Applied Biology and Agrobiotechnology study programs in relation to their competitiveness on the labor market. By carrying out modern biochemical and molecular analyses, students will acquire additional practical skills, correct laboratory practice, habits and the necessary precision when analyzing samples of plant or animal material on modern laboratory equipment, which will support not only the connection of theoretical knowledge with practical experience, but also their competitiveness on the labor market. The output of the project will be modern teaching laboratory texts from the subject "Biochemical and molecular methods" in printed form, which will increase the quality of education, motivation and laboratory skills of students. The teaching texts will be supplemented with a database of questions and a terminological dictionary in the LMS Moodle environment, with which students can test their knowledge through e-learning. By integrating innovative trends and new didactic tools, conditions will be created for the rationalization and modernization of the pedagogical process. Textbooks, as well as on-line didactic materials, will be intended primarily for students of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, but they can also be a suitable teaching aid for students of biological and chemical studies at other educational institutions.
