THE IMPACT OF COURT DECISIONS ON THE ACTIVITIES OF SECURITY AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES

The conference objectives are based mainly on the objectives of the Scientific Research Project No. 274 solved at the Academy of the Police Force in Bratislava, entitled "The influence of court decisions on the security-related activities of the Police Force in public administration", namely:

• to define theoretical and terminological foundations related to the decision-making activities of courts,
• to define theoretical and terminological foundations related to the security-related activities of public authorities,
• to define the system of entities implementing security-related services (e.g. Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, district offices, municipal police),
• to assess and evaluate whether, from a legal perspective, judicial decisions influence the conduct of security-administrative functions,
• to identify and analyze judicial decisions taken into account by public authorities when implementing security-related activities.

• definition of the system of entities participating in the implementation of security-administrative services in the Slovak Republic and abroad,
• characterization of the substantive aspects of security-administrative services,
• characterization of the system of courts and their decision-making activity.,
• considerations regarding the binding effect of judicial decisions in the execution of security-administrative services in the Slovak Republic and in foreign jurisdictions,
• identification and analysis of significant judicial decisions and assessment of their impact on the implementation of security-administrative services,
• possibilities for the use of artificial intelligence in the analysis of judicial decisions concerning the implementation of security-administrative services in public administration.

• The conference will be held in person on the premises of the Academy of the Police Force in Bratislava.
• The conference registration form must be completed via the online form no later than 31 March 2026.
• Papers must be prepared in accordance with the Guidelines for the Preparation of Contributions.

Conference Fee

• The conference fee is EUR 20 (in words: twenty euros) and must be paid no later than 31 March 2026.
• The fee includes lunch for conference participants, two coffee breaks, costs related to the overall organization of the conference, and the publication of a peer-reviewed conference proceedings volume.
• Payment of the conference fee is a condition for participation in the conference (both active and passive). The fee must also be paid if the participant does not attend the conference in person but submits a contribution for publication in the conference proceedings.
