Pedagogy in the process of change: Education, training of future teachers and professional pedagogical staff

The conference follows on from previous conferences. The aim of the conference is to update university training for future teachers at all levels of schooling and adult education, to evaluate the state of scientific knowledge in the field of research topics that are the subject of study at faculties providing training for future teachers, and to develop cooperation with experts in Slovakia and in countries participating in research projects.

Content focus:

• Changes in university education for preschool and elementary school teachers.
• Innovations in the content of school pedagogy for future teachers of lower secondary and upper secondary schools (theory of education, didactics, history of education, philosophy of education, sociology of education, and others).
• Cooperation between teaching and specialist school staff (social pedagogue, special pedagogue, therapeutic pedagogue, school psychologist, teaching assistant, and others).
• Education, training, and care for adults in the process of social change (acceptance, cooperation, restructuring, devaluation, etc.).

Deadline for submitting contributions to the proceedings: March 1, 2026
