Quality of Higher Education 2026

The Slovak Association for Quality in Higher Education is organizing the 4th annual professional conference with international participation, “QUALITY IN HIGHER EDUCATION 2026,” focused on the impact of Generations Z and Alpha on the learning outcomes of academic programs and the quality of teaching. The goal of the conference is to gain an understanding of Generations Z and Alpha and to apply this understanding to ensuring  the quality of higher education. The conference aims to share examples of best practices, identify priorities for innovating learning outcomes, and provide recommendations on teaching quality for higher education institutions to effectively teach these generations, with a tangible impact on their future employability. Through presentations by experts in the field of higher education as well as a panel discussion, conference participants will be introduced to various perspectives on learning outcomes and the readiness of Generation Z and Alpha for the labor market. The conference serves as a platform for presenting innovations in higher education, exploring these generations’ expectations of higher education, and identifying gaps in the preparedness of college graduates
