EECERA 2025: Early Education for All: Celebrating Diversity and Seeking Inclusion

The EECERA Annual Conference is the largest and most important conference on early childhood research in Europe. The EECERA conference is organised each year in a different European city by a local university or early childhood research network.

The aim of the conference is to exchange knowledge on the causes and pathways of exclusion and inclusion; to provide a forum that emphasises inclusion in different cultures and communities, critical reflection and dialogue on inclusive early childhood education, the possibilities for implementing inclusive policies and practices in early childhood education systems

The EECERA conference is intended for scholars, policy makers, researchers and practitioners.

The main theme of the conference is inclusion and equity in early childhood education, with a focus on identifying and removing barriers that prevent children from accessing quality education.
