Child safety in the digital space

The aim of the conference is to exchange expertise, discuss the challenges and opportunities of the digital space, and seek solutions for creating a safer and more responsible digital space for children and young people.

Conference is intended for researchers and academic institutions, practitioners (psychologists, teachers, social workers),
representatives of non-profit organizations and state institutions, students and all those interested in this issue.

The conference includes workshops:

• Digital Parents – Parenting in the Digital Age
• IPčko – AI and relationships
• Street Youth – Radicalization

The event will take place within the framework of the following projects:
- APVV-23-0172 Digital natives and the opportunities and risks of the online environment
- Multimedia platform for the prevention of substance and non-substance addictions for teachers and other helping professions in the school environment, Kega Project No. 006KU4/2023

Keynote speakers (10.2.2025) :

• prof. Mgr. Kamil KOPECKÝ, Ph.D. (PdF UPOL Czech Republic, E-Safety) 
  Risky behavior of children in the online world from the point of view of case studies
• MUDr. Marcela Šoltýsová, PhD. (founder of the Infanterra Center, child psychiatrist and psychotherapist) 
  Recommendations for the healthy use of screen media in children and adolescents: the context of their emergence and a practical perspective
