Contemporary challanges in criminal law theory and practice

The primary objective of this well-established, interdisciplinary national conference is to analyze doctrinal, interpretive, and application challenges within contemporary criminal law theory and practice. The conference aims to provide a platform for the exchange of knowledge in the fields of substantive and procedural criminal law, while also addressing issues related to criminal law-related sciences. Furthermore, the conference facilitates the sharing of findings from research projects in the subject area and fosters interdisciplinary discussion regarding the current state of criminal law and its related fields.

• Substantive Criminal Law: Discussion on amendments to and the application of the Criminal Code.
• Procedural Criminal Law: Issues regarding the procedures of law enforcement authorities and the courts.
• Related Scientific Disciplines and Fields: Forensic science, criminology, penology, and other related areas.
• Addressing Challenges in Practice, Research Tasks, and International Experience.

Important Deadlines:

• Registration Deadline: No later than February 15, 2026.
• Submission of Full Paper for Publication: By March 5, 2026.
