Admission procedure in the form of selection procedure based on the secondary school results

·               The applicants for study attend a selection procedure. The best applicants in order will be admitted for the study according to the selection procedure, average secondary school results and the leaving exam. The average secondary school results are calculated as the arithmetic average of marks in the year-end school reports for the individual years of the study and the average mark of the leaving exam.

·               The results of the selection procedure will be published in the Academic information system of FSER.

·               The FSER dean appoints the committee for the admission procedure that shall consist of the chairman and committee members. It shall then verify fulfilment of the conditions by applicants for the study at FSER AD UTn in Trenčín.

·               The dean decides on admission for the study based on the decision of the selection committee.

·               The applicant that received a decision on non-admission for the study can send to the dean of the faculty a request for review of the decision within eight days as of the delivery.

·               Applicants that are admitted for the study are obliged to enrol according to the instructions that they receive in writing together with the decision on admission for the study.

·               As provided by Section 59 par. 3 of the Act on universities the faculties are entitled to require information from the admitted applicants whether they will enrol for the study. If the applicant does not provide the information by the required deadline, they lose the right to enrol for the study.

·               Applicants may file only one application to FSER and indicate in it only one branch and one study form (full-time or part-time).

·               The document on fee payment for the admission procedure is considered to be either the money order slip or the transfer confirmation confirmed by the respective bank on transferring the respective to the account of AD UTn (not a bank statement printed from internet banking).

·               Changes in study programmes in the registered applications are not admissible.

·               In case that the required data are incomplete, the application will be returned to the applicant and will not be entered in the admission procedure database.

·               The admission procedure commences for the applicant for the study by delivery of their application for study to the faculty. The application must be delivered by the deadline determined by the faculty.
