Agroecology
The graduate of the bachelor study program of agroecology is able to understand the theoretical knowledge principles, theories and facts concerning ecological, natural sciences, agricultural, technical and economic disciplines related to the protection and creation of the environment of the agricultural landscape and its ecological stability. The Bachelor is able to apply theories, technological procedures and proposals for assessment, design and implementation of agricultural systems under agroecosystems. The graduate is mastering the basic legislative instruments of protection and creation of environment. Agroecologist is competent and able to follow new knowledge in his / her study program, but also in related study programs. The skills gained by the graduate in laboratory, practical and field exercises and professional practice is able to implement at the engineering level. Graduate has enough knowledge and experiences for applying in designing, guiding, solving and explaining the qualitative and quantitative parameters of the tasks, while constantly monitoring development trends within his / her profession.
Prospects of graduates
Graduate of the Bachelor's Degree Program finds employment as a middle management and executive worker in positions of state administration and self-government, in scientific-research institutions, commercial institutions, agricultural enterprises and in the business sphere.

Conditions for international students
Foreign applicants for the study from European Union member states or states that are party to the European Economic Area and Switzerland, the Republic of Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Montenegro, the Republic of Macedonia, Moldova, Republic of Serbia, Ukraine or citizens residing in a Member State shall take the same conditions as nationals of the Slovak Republic. Foreign bidders from other countries can apply for study at FAFR SUA in Nitra:
- on the basis of international agreements after the successful completion of language training at the Institute of Language and Training University in Bratislava,
-as a self-financing.
Conditions of admission without the entrance exam
Candidates attend the admission interview with the required documents. Admission process is based on ranking list created by computer from the results achieved at school leaving examination. The results of school leaving exam are the most important for the evaluation of candidates. When filling the required number of students to particular study program Dean may admit other candidates in the order who fulfill conditions for an alternative study program.

A candidate for the study sends an application form for the bachelor's degree programs. In application form, the applicant may also provide an alternative study programme. Application includes a curriculum vitae, a secondary school leaving certificate and medical certificate of qualification for university studies and professional practice. Candidate who graduated in the same calendar year in which apply to university study bring secondary school leaving certificate for admission interview. After successful completion of bachelor degree students can continue on the chosen Master degree study programme.
