Prospects of graduates

A graduate of the Master study programme is prepared theoretically and practically to work professionally in developing extensive programming products in all areas of graphical applications, work as a researcher in various facilities of fundamental and applied research, work as an assistant at various types of universities as a teacher of mathematics, especially with a focus on geometrical and graphical disciplines, study further in the third level of university education in the study programmes of the course of study of Mathematics, or in the programmes of related courses of study.

Due to the universality of the mathematical thinking acquired and a good preparation in informatics, the graduates will be capable of flexible adaptation to the emerging needs of intellectual activity. Their possible prospects range beyond the limits of the applications mentioned above that are mostly graphical and geometrical, since a number of graduates of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics of the Comenius University in the study programme of Computer Graphics and Geometry find good prospects in the field economy, especially in industry and finance.
