Organic Technology and Technology of Fuels

The graduates are well acquainted with the methods of scientific research and development aimed at streamlining technologies and development of new manufacturing processes for basic chemicals, fuels, antioxidants, pharmaceuticals, pesticides and other chemical specialties. They are prepared for independent  solutions of difficult tasks in the area of development and manufacturing of organic compounds and fuels. The graduates are well versed in the methodology of scientific work, can work-up, analyze and present data to the scientific community in the form of reports, scientific papers and lectures.

Assessment, preparation and uses of sophisticated materials, green technologies of manufacturing of organic compounds and fuels, kinetic study and modelling of technological processes, reactor engineering, statistical  methods, analysis of complex mixtures of organic compounds, separation methods of reaction products,  assessment, preparation and uses of fossil and alternative fuels.



Prospects of graduates

Graduates are prepared for creative research and scientific work applied mainly in the scientific and research institutes, universities, designing companies, departments of enterprise developments and strategic planning.

General information on the admission exam

The entrance exam consists of a written test in the English language and an oral exam in specialised subjects. The result of the entrance exam is expressed by a score-based assessment which is the sum of the score achieved in the entrance exam, study results achieved and professional activities.
