Graduate Profile:

Graduates of the Master program of study in Human Resources and Personnel Management can create human resources development programs, develop personnel policies and ensure their execution. Knowledge and skills acquired via the university curriculum enable graduates to carry out independently and creatively surveys on human resources and labour market. Graduates demonstrate an ability to manage a team and to design and implement employment projects. The curriculum allows graduates to acquire theoretical knowledge on economy and society, latest management trends and ideas, principles of human resources development, and methods and techniques specific to people management.

Conditions of admission

Applicants who completed a Bachelor’s degree program of minimum 3 years or completed their full higher-education studies in the length of 5 years can be admitted to Master's degree programme in Human Resources and Personnel Management.



Additional information

Additional admission rounds or deadline extension (incl. the admission procedure date) will be decided by the Dean of the Faculty.

General information on the admission exam

There is no entrance examination; students will be admitted according to their previous study results.

It is advisable to fill the application electronically via https://e-prihlaska.tnuni.sk. After submitting, the application form does not need to be printed and mailed by post. Applicants must only send compulsory annexes to the Faculty Study Department.

Required annexes to the application form – for non-FSEV, TnUAD applicants:

  • A copy of the Bachelor degree diploma attested by a notary or register office.
  • Graduates of 2020 are required to submit a notary attested copy of the Bachelor degree diploma upon its receipt, not later than the enrolment date.
  • A certificate of recognition of the Bachelor degree awarded by foreign institutions of higher education is required to be submitted not later than the enrolment date. (Higher education diplomas issued in the Czech Republic are automatically considered as equivalent, i.e. no further action is required)

Required annexes to the application form – applicable only to FSEV, TnUAD graduates:

  • No documents on completion of studies are required

When a sign „uložená/saved“ is displayed on the screen, an  e-application form is saved in the Academic Information System.

In case the admission fee is not paid in the e-application form by 8 days from the e-application form in the status of "preklopená", the receipt of payment should be sent to: maria.suletyova@tnuni.sk

No decision on admission to study will be mailed to those who failed to pay the application fee.

General requirements and information:

  • Undergraduates in their last year of a Bachelor's degree program may also submit an application form for the Master's degree program. This fact shall be indicated in the application form.
  • Applicants who completed an associated Bachelor's degree program or other Bachelor's degree programs or completed their full higher-education studies in the length of 5 years can be admitted to Master's degree program in Human Resources and Personnel Management. Applicants, who are graduates of Bachelor's degree programs from other institutions of higher education, shall take examinations in selected compulsory course units in the Bachelor's degree program of Human Resources and Personnel Management in English language (Accreditation Documentation).
  • Applicants who completed a Bachelor's degree program abroad must submit a document on the recognition of a completed higher-education study issued by a foreign institution of higher education (pursuant to Section 106 (3) of Act 131/2002 Coll. On Higher Education. If an international treaty between the respective state and the Slovak Republic on mutual recognition and equivalence of educational documents is concluded, such document is not required (e.g. higher education diplomas issued in the Czech Republic are automatically considered as equivalent, i.e. no further action is required ).
  • The Dean of the Faculty of Social and Economic Relations shall appoint a board for the admission procedure, consisting of a chairman and its members. The commission shall check whether all the requirements related to the Master's degree program are met.
  • The dean shall decide on the admission to study based on the recommendations by the board members.
  • Unsuccessful applicants may submit an application to review the decision on the admission to the dean within eight days from its delivery.
  • Applicants who received a decision on admission are required to enroll to the program of study as instructed in writing.
  • By notification of the decision on admission to study pursuant to the Act No. 131/2002 Coll. on Higher Education, section 59, 3 as amended, the faculty has the right to ask applicants whether they are going to enroll. The right of the applicants to enroll shall lapse if they fail to provide the information by the deadline.
  • The admission procedure begins with the submission of a study application form. The application must be delivered within the deadline as set by the faculty. The Faculty does not notify applicants on registration of their applications. Applicants may check the registration of their applications in the Academic Information System (AIS) based on the instructions found on www.fsev.tnuni.sk UCHÁDZAČI(APPLICANTS) section .
  • Incomplete applications and/or annexes will not be evaluated in the admission procedure.
  • The attached documents and admission fees will not be returned to the applicants.
    • Applicants may select only one form of study (either full-time or part-time).

Billing information

Invoice data to pay the admission procedure fee will be generated automatically in the form of a bank order after submitting the e-application, which can be found on https://e-prihlaska.tnuni.sk/ais/eprihlas.

If the admission procedure fee is not registered in the e-application within 8 days of payment, applicants shall send a copy of payment to the head of the accounting office to: maria.suletyova@tnuni.sk.

NOTE: The Faculty will refund the admission fee to all applicants who meet the admission requirements and enroll for study.
