Conditions od admission

Full-time study

morally good and unimpeachable life of a Christian

complete secondary education accomplished with a school-leaving exam

knowledge of at least one foreign language (English, German, Italian, French)

recommendation of the parish priest in the place of permanent address (for the study programme of Catholic Theology)

sound health condition to perform the profession (medical confirmation of health fitness)

Part-time study

Additional information

The studies are open in Bratislava, Nitra and Badín. An applicant can send an application to one of the Faculty's sites only.

It is required to attach the following documents to the application: birth certificate,certificate of baptism with a record of confirmation and marriage, marriage certificate from the community office (for part-time students only), parents' marriage certificate issued by the parish office (for full-time students only), school-leaving report, CV, doctor's testimony of health condition, recommendation from local parish priest. All documents are to be submitted as originals or verified copies.

General information on the admission exam

The entrance exam will be taken in a written form. The written part consists of a written test and an elaboration of one of the topics defined as selected by the applicant. The written test is intended to verify the awareness in the area of religious education and current issues of the Church. The oral interview is intended to assess the applicant's motivation to study and verbal skills.

Upon receipt of the application, the Faculty will send to the applicant an invitation to entrance exam, some basic information about the entrance exam and fundamental study literature for the written test.

Knowledge test in the Holy Scripture, Catechism and the current issues of the Church. Elaboration of a topic - a choice of five topics by style.
