Physiotherapy
Graduates of the bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy will be employed in primary, secondary and follow-up health care as physiotherapists. After obtaining the specialisation, they will be employed in the performance of specialised activities.

- External form of study:
- Attention! From the academic year 2016/2017 the study takes 4 years.
- filled and signed application form with required attachments with the receipt of the paid fee for the entrance exam
- obtained competency to practice the health profession in the relevant field,
- work in the field at the time of enrolment and during the entire period of study. The employer's confirmation of employment and length of professional experience must be attached to the application form or, where appropriate, on the date of enrolment,
- completed secondary vocational education in the field of study: rehabilitation worker (rehabilitation assistant) - not massage therapist, or higher vocational education in the field of study, graduate physiotherapist completed by a graduation examination
- work in the field,
- without entrance examination.
Additional information
The Faculty of Nursing and Professional Health Studies of the Slovak Medical University in Bratislava reserves the right not to open bachelor and master study programmes in case of a lower number of applicants than the planned number.
It also reserves the right not to open any of these study programmes for other serious reasons.

- you must register your application electronically through the MAIS Academic Information System at https://mais.szu.sk/eprihlaska (Mozilla Firefox browser) and subsequently send the printed application form with the required attachments by post,
The application form must be accompanied by:
- matriculation certificate - photocopy certified by a notary or registry office,
- applicants for the external form of study, if they have a higher vocational education, shall also attach a certified copy of the diploma of completion of higher vocational studies,
- a brief curriculum vitae,
- a doctor's certificate of the applicant's medical fitness to practise the profession in question - to be attached to the application form,
- certificate of experience in the relevant field of study to be attached only by applicants for the external form of study,
- applicants who are graduating in the current academic year shall submit their matriculation certificate (certified copy) on the day of the entrance examination,
- if the applicant wishes to apply for more than one study programme at the University, he/she must submit a separate application for each study programme separately and pay the application fee for each application separately.
