Corporate Financial Management
Graduates of the study programme Corporate Financial Management in the field of study Economics and Management are able to work as business economists and managers at all levels of management, for all types of companies. They can also work in the field of financial services and in the banking sector. Graduates have professional knowledge and competences in the field of economics and management, oriented towards the enterprise, but especially in the areas of strategic management and planning, controlling, finance and financial management and others. They know specific concepts, procedures, processes and connections between them. Based on the acquired knowledge, acquired conceptual apparatus, graduates are able to identify, design and apply creative solutions to problems and draw conclusions with regard to the object of research. They have developed communication and analytical skills necessary for solving business problems. They are able to apply for top management and professional positions. They understand new trends and procedures in financial management and can independently identify their risks or impacts on business practice. They are able to present and defend their own ideas individually and within a team, even in a foreign language, they critically evaluate specific situations and take responsibility for assigned tasks or projects based on acquired competencies and skills.

Conditions for international students
Foreign applicants have the same conditions as applicants from the Slovak Republic, however, they must complete a language and training course in order to meet the requirements of the study program in the Slovak language (except for applicants from the Czech Republic). Applicants who have been granted a certificate of a Slovak living abroad under a special regulation are considered a Slovak citizen.
Conditions of admission without the entrance exam
An applicant who graduated in the academic years 2020/2021, 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 from the 1st degree study programme in the field of study economics and management at the Faculty of Business Economy in Košice and obtained at least a majority of points from the maximum possible number of points in each part of the state examination may be admitted to the 2nd degree study without an entrance examination, in the study programme and form of study which he/she has indicated in his/her application as the 1st in the sequence.
The following applies to an applicant from the FBE UE in Košice:
a) If no more than 3 years have elapsed since passing the state bachelor's examination at the FBE UE in Košice, the applicant will be admitted to the study on the basis of the score of the state bachelor's examination.
b) If more than 3 years have elapsed since passing the state bachelor's examination at the FBE UE in Košice, the applicant must pass the written entrance examination.

Notice:
UE in Bratislava will only accept an electronic application form that will be created in the Academic Information System (AiS2) of EU in Bratislava. The UE in Bratislava will not accept electronic applications created on the HEI portal (www.portalvs.sk) into its system.
The admission fee can only be paid by bank transfer (not by postal order). A bank transfer order is not proof of payment of the admission fee. A bank account statement or a payment receipt or a payment confirmation from online banking may be accepted as proof of payment.
