Andragogy

Andragogika sa ako vedný a študijný odbor začala na Slovensku utvárať začiatkom deväťdesiatych rokov 20. storočia. Koncepcia andragogiky nadväzuje na koncepciu pedagogiky dospelých, je však omnoho širšia. Andragogiku ako súčasť vied o výchove možno charakterizovať ako vedu o edukácii dospelého človeka, ktorá sa zaoberá intencionálnou socializáciou dospelého človeka, problémami pomoci dospelému človeku vo všetkých oblastiach jeho života (profesijný život, voľný čas, sociálne zabezpečenie). Skúmanie edukácie dospelých si vyžaduje interdisciplinárny prístup, významné sú predovšetkým aplikované psychologické, sociologické a ekonomické disciplíny.

Študijný odbor andragogika je koncipovaný ako trojstupňové bakalárske, magisterské a doktorandské štúdium:

- prvý stupeň vysokoškolského štúdia (Bc.) so štandardnou dĺžkou 3 roky;
- druhý stupeň vysokoškolského štúdia (Mgr.) so štandardnou dĺžkou 2 roky;
- tretí stupeň vysokoškolského štúdia (PhD.).

Na FiF UK v Bratislave je v súčasnosti akreditovaný študijný program andragogika na bakalárskom stupni štúdia.

Obsah štúdia bakalárskeho stupňa tvoria najmä základné predmety: Základy andragogiky, Filozofia výchovy, Dejiny výchovy a vzdelávania dospelých, Didaktika dospelých, Teória výchovy dospelých, Andragogická psychológia, Sociológia výchovy a vzdelávania dospelých, Profesijná andragogika, Kultúrna andragogika, Sociálna andragogika. Na tieto predmety nadväzujú ďalšie predmety umožňujúce individuálnu orientáciu na vybrané oblasti teórie a praxe edukácie dospelých.

Počas štúdia je prostredníctvom voľby povinne voliteľných a výberových predmetov možná orientácia na:

1.  profesijnú andragogiku -problematika profesijného vzdelávania dospelých s ťažiskom na vzdelávanie v organizáciách (podnikové vzdelávanie);
2. kultúrnu andragogiku - problematika kultúrno-výchovnej práce a záujmového vzdelávania, andragogika voľného času;
3. sociálnu andragogiku - s ťažiskom na sociálno-andragogické pôsobenie pri riešení sociálnych problémov jednotlivcov a rôznych cieľových skupín.



Prospects of graduates

The faculty graduates find their application mainly as scientific and research, pedagogic and managerial employees, translators and interpreters, journalists, analytical, creative and service employees in different areas of economics, politics, public administration, education, health care, culture, science, in mass communication media, social services, etc.

Conditions of admission

To opened study programmes of the Faculty of Arts CU a predetermined number of applicants are accepted either without taking an entrance exam (in case of the study programmes ethics, history of book culture, philosophy classical languages, information studies, literature communication and libraries, museology and cultural heritage, pedagogy, Slovak language and literature, Slovak language and culture and teaching of academic subjects) and in case of study programmes the number of registered applicants is lower or equal to the determined number of applicants accepted for the study, or on the basis of entrance examination execution (in case of other study programmes). To opened study programmes where no entrance exam takes place the determined number of applicants will be accepted according to the order drawn up based on the study results at secondary school, or all applicants that applied for these study programmes will be accepted. To opened study programmes where an entrance exam takes place the determined number of applicants will be accepted according to the results of the entrance exam.

The faculty requires a confirmation of a health ability for university study from applicants of study and for exercise of the profession in the selected study programme.

Základné predpoklady a požiadavky na štúdium: Od uchádzačov o štúdium andragogiky sa očakáva predovšetkým záujem o otázky edukácie dospelých v kontexte celoživotného vzdelávania a učenia sa, schopnosť samostatného a tvorivého myslenia, adaptabilita a flexibilita ako schopnosť využitia nadobudnutých vedomostí a zručností pre budúce úspešné uplatnenia sa v najrozličnejších oblastiach andragogického pôsobenia. Okrem znalosti aspoň jedného cudzieho jazyka sa očakávajú aj dobré znalosti zo stredoškolského učiva z oblasti histórie, literatúry, náuky o spoločnosti, základov pedagogiky a psychológie.



Conditions for international students

Conditions of admission of foreign students are the same as the conditions of admission of SR citizens, with the exception of foreigners - self-payers, in case of which may the entrance proceeding have a form of entrance colloquium.
Tuition for foreigners - self-payers is EUR 2,500 for an academic year.



Conditions of admission without the entrance exam

Na otvárané študijné programy, na ktoré sa prihlási nižší alebo rovnaký počet uchádzačov ako je vopred stanovený a zverejnený počet prijímaných na štúdium, sú uchádzači prijímaní bez vykonania prijímacej skúšky, resp. všetci prihlásení uchádzači.

General information on the admission exam

The admission procedure starts by submitting university study application form. The applicant submits an application for the Bachelor level of university study on an official application form (form in A 3 format - as a double sheet).

The applicant may submit only one application for study at the Faculty of Arts of CU. Within the defined groups study programmes (listed below), the applicant may apply for two study programmes. The applicant indicates them in one application form, with binding specification of the order of his/her preference. For other study programmes opened at the Faculty of Arts of CU (outside the defined groups) the applicant may submit an application for only one study programme.

The groups of study programmes within which the applicant may apply for two study programmes:

1.      group (without entrance exam): history of book culture, ethics, philosophy, classical languages, information studies, literature communication and libraries, museology and cultural heritage, pedagogy, Slovak language and literature, Slovak language and culture, teaching of academic subjects (in concrete combinations)

2.      group (unified entrance examination):  archeology, archival science, history
3.      group (unified entrance examination): ethnology, culturology, politology, sociology



The fee for admission shall be paid by the participants by money order of type U to the address of the faculty of in the form of bank transfer.  The payment confirmation is the  copy of the slip on payment of the fee, or confirmation of the bank on transfer execution (we do not accept mail confirmation from internet banking). The confirmation must be stuck on page 3 of the application. Without payment confirmation of the fee for admission procedure the application of the applicant will not be registered.                                                  

An aliquot part of the fee may be returned to those applicants that cancel the application in the term by 28 February, 2009 (EUR 33.19 / SKK 1000). Changes in the study programmes in the registered universtity study applications are after 15 March, 2009 inadmissible.          

The faculty does not provide the university application form. The form is available on the website of the Ministry of Education SR and the Faculty of Arts CU.        

The entrance exam to the Faculty of Arts CU may be attended by and accepted may be only applicants that have full secondary education or full secondary vocational education completed with a school leaving examination. The required document on acquiring secondary education is a copy of the school leaving certificate verified by a notary.. Copies of school leaving certificates not verified by a notary public, as well as not validated school leaving certificates from foreign secondary schools will not be accepted.

For study programmes without entrance exams the applicant sends a veriefied by a notary of all year-end school reports of the secondary school. In this case, the certified printout of all grades from the high school on the application form is not necessary.

Alternative date of the entrance exam may the dean of the faculty grant to the applicant, who asks for it in writing, but only in the case of participation of the applicant on another entrance exam on other faculty of the Comenius University in Bratislava (photocopy of the invitation to the entrance exam on other faculty of CU in Bratislava shall be attached to the request).

The dean of the faculty has the right to admit other applicants instead of admitted applicants who declare that they are not joining the study, or who don't confirm their interest in study at the stated time, according to the order arranged on the basis of the results of entrance exam in individual study programmes.
